My quite little side project is now over a year old. However, SongLytics is slowly picking up steam. My program now tracks over 12 Million songs for thousands of users, which is just crazy and while I’ve not been posting here very often, I’m constantly fixing bugs and keeping the servers running properly. For instance, those 12 million songs require quite a few queries to Spotify.
The android app now can track your YouTube and YouTube music plays. So if you hear a new song on YouTube, it’ll be added to your SongLytics library and Spotify playlists generated by SongLytics. 😀
As this project is getting more solid, I’m evaluating more ways to use this tech in JRT Studio projects. More is to come!
